My name is Arianna Orsato. I was born in Padova in 1990 and my path has always moved between graphic art and sculpture; two passions discovered in childhood and refined through my studies at the Art Institute of Padova and the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. After reflecting on how to transform my manual skills into a profession, I relocated to Toscana to study metalworking, training between Arezzo and Perugia in the field of goldsmithing.
Yet sculpture never stopped calling to me. That pull led me to seek a synthesis between the two disciplines—one I ultimately discovered in gem engraving. Without direct mentors, I learned techniques and methods across various artisan workshops, adapting them to shape a distinctive personal style.
Today, I create unique pieces that merge goldsmithing and sculptural elements: micro-sculptures, cameos, carvings, and inlays on diverse materials, from quartz to bone. Each work begins with hand-drawn designs and is brought to life through entirely traditional craftsmanship.
After several moves between Arezzo and Siena, I established my atelier in Montepulciano, where I now live and work.
